Some love stories start with perfect timing.

Ours started with a two-year age gap and a brave “I love you.”

When Erricka met Isaiah in high school, he was the older, confident one. What started as hallway conversations and shared laughs quickly turned into something neither of them expected.

As the older one, Isaiah might have had a head start in school but when it came to love, he took the biggest leap first. He was the first to say “I love you,” and from that moment on, their story was sealed.

Through school dances, late-night talks, life decisions, and growing pains, they didn’t just date — they grew up together. They learned how to support each other’s dreams, how to communicate, and how to choose each other even when life changed around them.

Seven years later, after building a love rooted in friendship and commitment, Isaiah took their story to a whole new level. During a family vacation in Canada, surrounded by beautiful scenery and the people they love, he got down on one knee and asked Erricka to spend forever with him. And of course, she said yes.

From high school sweethearts to fiancé and fiancée, their journey has been filled with laughter, growth, loyalty, and unwavering love.

Now, they can’t wait to begin their greatest chapter yet — not just as teenagers in love, but as husband and wife.
